Electrical Estimator
Gpac is a national executive search firm specializing in recruitment for the electrical construction industry. We have been retained by a local electrical contractor in the area to find an Electrical Estimator to join their team.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare proposal specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work and required estimate details
- Estimate electrical work for commercial, industrial, and institutional projects
- Attend pre-bid meetings and job site walkthroughs to verify project requirements
- Perform complete take-offs for electrical scope of work
- Maintain detailed estimate documentation, including supplier pricing and historical cost data
- Support other departments as needed, including assisting with estimates in related disciplines
- Analyze design options and recommend cost-effective solutions
- Interface with clients on bid-walks and provide estimating support to field operations
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by leadership
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of estimating experience with an electrical contractor
- Experience with Accubid, McCormick, or Conest estimating software
- Strong knowledge of electrical installations, estimating techniques, and cost control
- Ability to interpret computerized cost data and estimating systems
- Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines
- Stable work history
- Previous management or supervisory experience is a plus
Preferred but Not Required:
- College degree in a related field
