SIC (US 1987) : In 2001 the company name was changed to ScanPoint® Incorporated, to reflect a national plan to focus on sales and marketing. ScanPoint® EasyFile® was initially developed for Canon business systems in 1987 and sold through Canon's North American distribution channel. In 1998 the Portsmouth software acquired all rights to the EasyFile® software.
After acquisition, the EasyFile® software was migrated to a complete 32 bit code set and has been subsequently enhanced to add robust capture and web capabilities as well as increased security and audit tracking capability.
ScanPoint® has developed an extensive integration capability with multi-function peripherals for products such as TimeMatters and Net Documents.
